State of Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy
adds Rex TCS Barrel Heating System
to it’s Prescriptive Incentive Program

Rex Materials Inc, the emerging leader in energy efficient barrel heating and cooling continues its advancement in market penetration on plastic injection molding machines and extruders.Rex has approval for financial incentives on all Rex TCS systems in the state of Wisconsin. The prescriptive incentive provides payment based on existing machine specifications and will be provided by the Focus on Energy group out of Madison Wisconsin.

Rex Materials’ revolutionary TCS system consist of radiant heating elements imbedded in high-temperature ceramic fiber insulation.Radiant heat is directed across a small air gap directly into the barrel, saving energy and providing tight temperature control. If cooling is required, an optional high suction blower draws ambient air through the end ring across the barrel and exhaust the hot air, either into the plant or outside. Energy savings as much as 70% have been reported.

Wisconsin joins many other states in recognizing the energy savings of the Rex TCS System” says Keith Schultz of Rex Materials.Wisconsin will pay $50 per KW of existing heaters up to 50% of the total installation cost."“The Rex TCS system provides faster more efficient heating while reducing temperature variability, and with incentives like this the payback can be in months."
